Can you wear fake tan if you want to do skin to skin and try breast feed when baby is born? Also can you have fake nails/get them done before the birth not long stupid ones maybe acrylic ? Just wondering x
If the nail salon offers the gel nails ask if they will skip gluing the tips on and just put the gel on your nails. I had this done and loved it. Wasn't so hard to do things with hands because it wasn't bulky.
Fake nails are safe as far as I know, but I agree with PP, they SUCK for diaper changes and really just get in the way. Not sure about fake tans. Maybe ask your doctor about it?
Fake nails, even ones that aren't very long, can be pretty unsanitary. They're not allowed for medical workers for that reason, and I wouldn't want them around my tiny baby.
I got my nails done the day I went into labor. Worst idea ever.! They were not long but I swear I scratched my baby boy a million times. Won't be doing that again.
