4D ultra sound

When is the best time to have a 4D done? I've heard if you are too far along the baby is too big and the images are not too great. Not sure how true that is though.

    With our first daughter I had one around 35 weeks and she was a little too big so the pics weren't great. That tech told me the best time is 28-32 weeks.

    yes, 28-32 weeks is best time. I did mine at 27 weeks because I couldnt wait any longer and I thought it was close enough. pictures turned out great! (:

    I had mines at 33 weeks on Monday I liked how they came out mainly face shots though since he's so big already

    I just had mine done, I am 24 weeks. They came out amazing and he has room to move so I could see his little toes and feet!!! The face shots were great and I could clearly see he has his father's facial features! Lol 4D is awesome! :D

    My sister in in law had it done at 28, which her doctor told her was perfect. When I had an ultrasound at 32 they printed out some 4d ones for me (didn't ask, didn't really care) and they are adorable! Apparently they would have come out better, but he's was laying on his placenta when they took them. Looks like he's wearing a Phantom of the Opera mask though, so not complaining!
