Baby poop

I keep reading that formula fed babies poop less than breast fed babies. I recently switched from breast feeding to formula feeding my 3 week old. I have not noticed a decrease in his BM's. He poops almost after every feeding. It's not diarrhea- The consistency seems about right (yellow, seedy, pasty...). Does anyone else's formula fed baby poop a lot too?
