I NEED BBQ chips like right now, huge craving for them. But not interested in loading up 3 kids who are all in car seats to go to the grocery store to get them!

Moms with more than one, what silly "challenges" are you facing this go around?

  • Hahaha. What an awesome post!!
...I only have one, but I am concerned about him jumping and throwing his toys on my stomach!! He's only 14 months so he can't understand me, but it's really starting to worry me.

  • Ohhh...just read your post again. I guess that's not silly. Sorry irrelevant post then..
  • Seriously have this issue with two. Craving usually have to wait because that's too much work for one thing. DH always ask why don't you just go get it if I ask him to grab something on the way home. He doesn't understand the struggle. I know I might skip lunch for myself (kids will always eat) when there is three. I know terrible but I try and plan ahead so that won't happen.
  • Oh the struggle is real. Does DD skip a bath so I can go to the store and buy something I am craving or do we do bath and bed on schedule? Yesterday bath and bed won. Being a single mom is hard last time H would of gladly gone out to buy something I was craving
  • Ugh this is a weekly struggle for me! I hate to load my three up just to get them out at a store. I usually give in after they are all in bed and H is home, then just go alone to the store.
  • There needs to be a delivery service for pregnant ladies craving needs. Like, I don't want a full grocery shop delivered, just a pint of Ben and Jerry's and a bag of kettle chips... Now.

I can't love tit this enough seriously. But some days I want all groceries delivered they don't offer that down here. I heard that they do in NYC but that could be a rumor.

  • How about the guilt? My 3 are older (10, 7, and 5) so they are capable of doing a lot on their own and entertaining themselves but I have guilt about how much I've been slacking because of how crappy I always feel. Gone are the days of the creative homecooked meals, Pinterest inspired crafts, and nightly tuck-ins with multiple goodnight songs.

And I'm seriously worried about getting through their dance recital this weekend. Today we have a 5 hour long dress rehearsal which will be the longest time I've been out of my house in the last 10 weeks.
  • I'm not sure where you live but there is a website called instacart.com. They have people who will go to the store and deliver it to your house within a couple of hours! It's awesome!

Yeah, challenge of today- trying to get my 3 and 1 year old to snack on the apple and grapes I've cut up, whilst I indulge my cravings for cookies :-/

"But mummmmm why can't we have cookies"
    "Apple is healthier!"
"Then shouldn't the baby have apple too?"

I don't need your smarts right now kid, I just need the cookies IN MY MOUTH!

I'd have to eat the cookie behind a locked door. My son gives me the most disturbing looks that cause me awful guilt when I eat food he knows is unhealthy. He'll happily grab an apple off the counter and eat it, but I'd just rather have the chocolate bar that's right next to it.
  • I have to wait to indulge my cravings until after my two have gone to bed. I'm very protective of my cheesecake. Thankfully my husband doesn't mind going out later but I hate having to wait all day just to sneak something!
