so I know we're close / overdue for babies' arrivals or celebrating their arrivals with some new mom challenges, but apparently practicing gratitude is a good thing, so... What are you thankful for this week?

Edited: because typing is hard. And some mamas aren't still waiting, but have babies in their arms now!

I'm happy to have my boys back home. I'm grateful we have such a good day care for DS and LO. And I'm grateful that our grocery store sells individual cheesecakes.

I am so thankful for my MIL and SIL. They have helped so much since LO was born. SIL has run errands for us if we need something. She is also good at reassuring me that things are alright. MIL has come over during the day to give me a break when DH is at work. It's nice to get some extra sleep in. She has also helped by cleaning around the house when I nurse LO. So very thankful for all their help!

I'm so happy my son is out of school for the summer! He's my little buddy and I'm always sad when he goes back in August!! Yay for a few months of hanging out with my bud!!

Thankful for DH, always. And that we are both not working now for the next several months, and can enjoy this special time together.

Grateful tomorrow is EDD and the end is near!

Thankful beyond belief that LO waited for June. Having better insurance for the birth is making this difficult week sooo worth it.

Thankful for DH, he's amazing, but especially thankful he's started sharing his excitement about LO's arrival!

I'm so grateful my mom is around. She's been helping me out with my boys, cleaning up around our apartment and doing a lot of the cooking. Growing up I wasn't her biggest fan and we had a very strained relationship. After having kids of my own I have a new appreciation and understanding for her. While we may not always see eye to eye I realize that not everything has to be a battle just because I don't like what she says or how she does something. So after years of trying to get away from her, it turns out she's not so bad after all.

I continue to be thankful for my husband - he has been amazing even when he is tired! I'm also thankful for my sister who has been my sounding board.

I am really happy that everything is all sorted and we are just waiting for baby's arrival, elated that my midwife does home visits ... I could go on and on and on! I have heaps to be thankful for ... wanted to start this thread from the beginning of the week. All the anxieties on here almost made me anxious.

Thankful my sis came to visit to meet the new baby today. It allowed DH to take a deserved break from being my errand boy and the only person getting my thoughts and feelings dumped onto him. Baby also loved her, slept in her arms for over an hour! Lastly she went out to get me sushi and a sheetcake, my ridiculous requests of the day.

Lastly, our baby gained back 8 ounces since she dropped a bunch after birth as my breastfeeding has been disastrous. The docs are thrilled with progress (it's formula for now but the point is that baby is healthy, my ego can take the hit).

I'm thankful my baby shower is finally this weekend! I can finish the baby room and get the rest of the things we need after that. I'm also thankful I didn't go into labor yesterday. It was my fiancé's birthday and I didn't want them to have the same one!

Thankful for my beautiful healthy baby, the ability to feed her and lactation consultants who give stellar advice, my wonderful husband who is an even better father than I'd thought he'd be, and helpful and supportive family and friends (that includes bump friends!
