painting while pregnant

I JUST found out we are finally pregnant after months of trying...and we have planned to paint our entire house ( new house ) thos weekend ! So in two days I'll be exposed to a lot of paint....is a face mask enough to protect me ? I'm very nervous

    Uhm, I can't remember all the details. I think what type of paint matters. I KNOW you CAN paint while pregnant (I have a friend who did an amazing mural for her sons each of her pregnancies), but I really want to say you should make sure it isn't a certain type of paint, you stay well ventilated, and I'm sure a mask will helps.

    ^that. Air circulation, lots of breaks, a mask, and you'll be fine.

    Now pretty much all the paints sold are low VOC so you should be fine. I would probably still wear a mask, turn on fans, etc.

    Thanks a bunch. Makes me feel better. Definitely wearing a mask and leaving doors and windows open
