  Ultrasound technicians do this for a living and have been trained appropriately. There is no one on this board that is qualified to provide a trustworthy second opinion as has been stated in several previous posts. If you're skeptical I wouldn't purchase any gender specific items until confirmation at the anatomy scan or birth depending on your comfort level. With that in mind, technology has come a long way since your husband was born, mistakes happen but are not common after the anatomy scan.

  Ever notice how those claiming other members of the board have OOC pregnancy hormones are the first to go crazy train on the group in zero to 60 seconds? One minute it is all rainbows and unicorns and the next it is like someone took the last KFC wing when they weren't looking. My goodness...

  Just so you know it's considered rude to delete. No one was rude to you. You posted an AW post with an ultrasound picture that clearly stated 100% girl, said you didn't trust the technician that you paid out of pocket for, and literally asked for our opinions. We are not trained to read ultrasounds, especially ones where orientation is not clear. You asked our opinion, we said we're not qualified. You got angry, and we need to get our hormones in check? Please contribute more to the community than AW and negativity.
