My UO, it makes me stabby when people say that healthcare, government programs, breastpumps, etc are free. NOTHING is free. Someone, somewhere has paid for that "free" service. A lot of times the person receiving the service has paid for it ten times over. End rant.

Today's rage is for people who post photos of their brand new (I'm talking minutes old) babies on FB. Sorry, but your baby looks like a prune. Like every single other baby.
Yesss! And I hate the argument that "oh, well I can control my kid just fine without one." Okay, well every kid is not your kid, and they have different temperaments. I can't say for sure whether or not I'll use them on my children, because I don't know how they will behave. But I'd much rather have one on my child and keep them safe even if that means other parents (and nonparents) judging me. To me it's better than the whole strap them in a stroller thing. At least they get to have some freedom and autonomy, but can't actually get away.
And on a related note, I was driving home the other day and a two year old ran out into the road in front of me. I would much rather see your child restrained in some way than almost hit your child because they did what kids sometimes do and ran off out of your control.
I can't stand people who don't speak a second language (well or fluently) trying to teach their baby a second language. Saying 'hola' as HO-la is not going to teach them anything. Start with whatever is normal in your house then move on to a second. If one or both parents are bilingual then go for it!
