When did you share the news our your twin pregnancy. I am 13 weeks and had an ultrasound Monday...both are doing great. Did you feel you had to wait longer bc it was twins? Would love some experiences.
Because we went through IVF, etc my immediate family knew about the pregnancy pretty early - maybe around 3-4 weeks - so when twins were confirmed on ultrasound I told them. But I was comfortable telling others at the 12 week mark.

We told everyone at 13 weeks when we announced the pregnancy, our immediate families already knew because we told them after our first ultrasound revealed twins at 9 weeks. We didn't feel we had to wait longer due to twins.
We made the public announcement at week 15. I was showing so much at that point I figured no point in staying quiet anymore. But do what feels comfortable for you. I know moms with singleton pregnancies that are high risk and wait a bit longer. Even though you are technically in the high risk category, if there have been no complications so far and everyone is healthy then why not announce?
I told some people right away- it was difficult to hide. I did a Facebook post around 13 weeks, because I was starting to show and people were getting suspicious
We have told my parents and my sister and a couple really close friends. Not planning to announce on fb until after we find out the genders. It may be difficult to keep such a secret at work because my body, according to me, has already changed so much. I'm 9w 1d. I was super fit and known for working out and that has slowed drastically. No energy.
@keshakdavis - I will be super impressed if you are able to hide it that long! We found out genders at week 19 and I was already HUGE at that point! Good luck to you
