Anyone have freezer meals that they would like to share?
We have been eating out so much recently because of various activities my dd's are involved in. Once the babe gets here I would like to get back on track with preparing meals at home. I initially wasn't going to do freezer meals, because to be honest, they aren't my favorite. I love to cook and like to make fresh made meals, instead of frozen. After all of this eating out though, it is making me realize that having a few shortcuts on hand would be a better alternative.
P.S. Please don't flame me if this has been discussed already. I did a search and found a few posts within posts, but thought it would be nice to have it all in one place.

I also stocked up on frozen veggie medleys, sweet potato fries/tots, and chicken thighs & breasts. Stuff easy enough for DH to just season & bake.
1 c spinach
1/4 c mixed berries
1/2 banana
Freeze in individual bag. Blend with 2 c almond milk and 1-2 scoops of protein powder.
Breakfast Tacos
1 lb turkey sausage
6 eggs
Shredded cheese
Whole wheat tortillas
Salt
Pepper
Cook turkey sausage all the way through. Add eggs and your desired amount of salt and pepper. Sprinkle cheese on tortillas; put egg/sausage mixture on top. Roll tortilla. Place in parchment paper and foil then freeze.
Taco Soup
2 cans pinto beans
2 cans red kidney beans
28 oz diced tomatoes
1 can corn
1 taco seasoning packet
1 ranch seasoning packet
Mix all ingredients in crockpot. Cook on low for 8 hours. Let cool and store in small freezer bags for individual portions. To use thaw and microwave. Can serve with shredded cheese and tortilla chips.
2 to eat.
Garlic ranch chicken to grill when your ready
Instructions
Cup mayo (light)
Ranch packet
Cup milk
Some minced or cut up garlic
Throw in a bag and freeze. We grilled some last night in a pan and it was amazing!
Meatballs
I can post a pic of the recipe. These aren't real healthy but taste amazing.
2 frozen pizzas cheaper and easier than store bought
Dough is so easy
1 packet of active yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
Let sit for 10 min
Add 2 tablespoons Olive oil
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups of flour ( I made one whole wheat flour and 1 white flour for the DH)
Bake for 3-5 min to harden a bit and top and put in freezer for 3 hrs uncovered. After your 3 hrs cover it and store.
I love cream cheese, red sauce and chicken for a pizza topping. It's amazing. Then made plain hamburger for DH.
Here's a hint. Only pick the very easiest recipes with the least ingredients from pinterest because like I vented yesterday those bitches lie about how long it takes to make these!!!!
I honestly think they taste better out of the freezer than if you make and immediately cook them. I make them without the enchilada sauce and cheese on top and then put the can of enchilada sauce and cheese on top right out of the freezer and into the oven.
1 lb ground beef (browned)
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 can of veg-all (strain the juice out)
Cover with tater tots and bake until they're done.
ETA: Just brown the meat and add the other ingredients, then freeze. Bake when you're ready to serve.
Cilantro lime chicken
3-4 chicken breast
2 limes squeezed (I don't squeeze them till the morning I cook the dish
A spoonful of garlic
Cilantro
3 cups chicken broth
3 TBS butter
Salt & pepper
1 small onion chopped
Cook all day 6+ hours. Shred the chicken when you get home and put two cups of instant rice in for about 15 mins. Then enjoy!
Lazy mans pasta sauce
A package of Italian sausage
Two cans of hunts pasta sauce
1 can of crushed tomatoes
Spices
Cook all day then serve over pasta
Lazy mans Pork chops
6 pork chops
1 large can cream of mushroom soup
1 small can cream of chicken soup
1 small container mushrooms sliced
3 carrots diced
1 onion diced
2 large potatoes diced
2 packages of onion soup mix
Cook all day and enjoy!
Chicken pot pie soup
3-4 chicken breast
2 carrots chopped
1 onion chopped
3/4 cup of peas
3/4 cup corn
1-2 large potatoes diced
1 can cream of chicken soup
Chicken broth maybe 3 cups (I honestly don't measure that)
Cook all day - when you are ready cook a roll of biscuits. Serve the food over the biscuits
Put a can of diced tomatoes and green chilis in instead of just the green chilis.
Cooked for 5 hrs in crockpot on low with 7 whole chicken breasts unthawed then when done I shredded the breasts and put them back in. So amazing. Crumble tortilla chips.
I've got several pots of dhal and Indian spiced lamb and potato patties (one of the biggest advantages of having an Indian husband has been him teaching me how to cook). Some bags of pulled pork. Spaghetti bolognese. Chorizo, chickpea and sweet potato hash.
My favourite things in my freezer are not healthy or practical, but amazing - balls of ready to make cookie dough with white chocolate and raspberries (really reeeaally good!) and a big bag of Heston Blumenthal recipe triple cooked chips (well technically double cooked - you freeze them between the first and second fry. They're time consuming but incredible, so when I make them I do it in bulk and freeze most of them to enjoy later)
None of the recipes are difficult, but they're not really quick either. I'd be happy to share if anyone's interested though.
3-4 chicken breasts
Diced red potatoes
2 cans of green beans
1 stick of butter
1 package of Italian seasoning
Place potatoes on one side chicken in the middle then green beans on the other side pour the stick of melted butter over the entire thing and the packet of seasoning. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
2nd one
Crock pot
2 frozen chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
16 Oz package of cream cheese
1 packet of Italian season cover 6-8 hours on low
Delish
3rd pulled pork
1 pork shoulder
Root beer or cola
Bbq sauce
Onion buns
Pork should in soda dd
