DH- hospital stay?

Night two in the hospital. Where is DH? Oh he left. He left at like 8:30pm. Last night too. Our kids aren't even at our house. They're at his parents. I know that the seating here isn't comfy and hurts his back but I'm the one that gave birth and hasn't slept in three nights


And the pedi just took Sam for cumircuncision and he couldn't wait with me?

Irritating.

    my husband never stays with me.  He leaves shortly after I actually give birth...like before they give the baby a bath, get me up the first time etc.  Then he visits usually once for an hour or so while I am in the hospital.  He has never slept there with me or anything.  After I had my first and second I was in really torn up and super sore shape.  It was going to be really hard for me to get the baby out of the bassinet and back into bed if alone so my sister stayed with me overnight to help.

    Wow ladies that would make me mad. I don't expect my hubs to stay ALL the time, but damn... Homie better hang out with me most of the time. I'll send him home to feed our cats and tell him to take a break for awhile when he's there, but I'm not meaning an all day break.

    Oh goodness!  That sucks!  My DH is planning to stay at the hospital, at least most of the time that I'm there.  Thankfully, our hospital has really nice rooms, with a full-size pull out couch for DH to sleep on, so hopefully he will be semi-comfortable.  I hope that you have other family and friends that are able to come spend some time with you!

    Ugh that sucks. DH stayed pretty much the whole time with DD1, except for going out to pick up some things for me, and to find some food for him.

    With DD2, he went out a bit more to bring DD1 up to visit, and do some things for her, but stayed overnight with me, and was with me a lot.

    I expect #3 will be the same.

    I was mad last night because Sam was scheduled for his circumcision and DH left before that too! I'm super sore so I had a hard time getting him into the bassinet so I could go to the bathroom.

    He came back this morning around 8am. He brought me breakfast. But now he's snoring in the big chair.

    I am not sure if MH will stay.  He has big issues with hospitals.  And when he gets aggitated...I may end up kicking him out. LOL
