Question: Target Exchanges???

DS was given a ton of new outfits from my step mom and they are all 12 months.  Well DS who is only 7 months is already in 12-18 month outfits so I wanted to exchange the clothes for 18 months but I do not have receipts.  Will Target do an even exchange without a receipt?  TIA

    Not if you've already met your return quota, and if you haven't you'll have to pay the difference in price if there is one.

    Nope, Target is a PITA about returns.  I would just go buy the larger sizes and then return the smaller sizes with the new receipt.

    Exchanges still "count against you" so to speak. So if you've already done 2 non-receipt returns or exchanges in the past year (NOT calendar year 2009, but since Jan 08), then you cannot.

    Well, you probably can't do that b/c the different sizes should have different UPCs/SKUs :( Even different colors will have different numbers and I guarantee Target's not going to overlook it.

    What a P.I.T.A!!!!!!  I'm going to try to exchange them, I've never returned without a receipt so I'll see how it goes.  Thanks Ladies!

    Since you are just exchanging then I would ask Step Mom to go to the store w me and then she can swip her card and it will be no problem.

    I am sure she would understand.

    If your step mom goes with you they can look up her receipt with her card, otherwise if it is more than $30 they will not let you exchange or return it without a receipt... I heart Target but HATE their return policy...
