Does anyone else get "morning sickness" at night?

This is my first pregnancy, and I am 6 weeks pregnant. Most of my family members who were pregnant in the past, normally got their sickness morning to about mid day. But I get up nauseous and exhausted and fine through your the day, then around dinner time, "morning sickness" hits me completely. Haven't done the whole throwing up ordeal yet. But so nauseous I can barely talk. I try to throw up but nothing except the feeling of sick to my stomach.

  • Don't worry you are not alone. Happens to me
  • Usually wakes me up in the middle of the night which is why I am writing this at 1:16 am.

same here & its 2:21 am where i live lol
  • I'm sick pretty much all day everyday. I'm usually okay when I first wake up but as soon as I eat or if I take too long to eat, the nausea sets in.

Definitely check out the Daily Symptoms threads. It helps to know everyone else is miserable too. ;-)
  • I'm sick all day, every day :(
I get especially sick at about 1.30pm and it gets progressively worse into the night. I've lost 6 kilos in two weeks. It's awful!
  • Yes i feel sick usually from 4 pm for a few hr and again during the night and always waje up btw 2 and 2.30 am feeling neauseous ! I havent vomited yet just a real anxious sick feeling!
  • Mine usually kicks in around 4/5pm it makes me not want to eat a thing and just lay down and nap :( eating or drinking cold things help me! Like ice cold water or some ice cream :)
  • Mine is the same way. Up every couple of hours. And sick to my stomach. Glad I'm not alone. The struggle is real! But it's all for a good cause.
  • Thank you all so much!
  • I have morning sickness all day, try ginger ale it helps me out!!
  • Morning or better known as all day sickness has not been kind to me. It seems to be around the clock, vomit, sweats, the whole sha-bang. :-&
  • I have been doing the same thing! About 8 or 9 it hits me :/ I'm 9 weeks on Thursday
  • It's 3am as I type this and I'm currently laying in bed in between throw up sessions, I've thrown up about 10 times since 1am! It's quite rediculous! All I want to do is get some good sleep! Haha!! Hopefully this will ease off soon for all of us! :/
  • I get it all day long! BUT I started drinking peppermint ginger tea and seriously it soothes my stomach for a bit I love it . Doesn't taste the best I don't like peppermint but it works! Try that

Get the same feeling but is an all day thing! :( I usually drink lemon water and eat crackers throughout the day.
  • I actually woke up last night at 1am very nauseas and couldn't fall back to sleep until 3am. I would say that is totally the worst, I need my sleep!!! So far today I feel a little queasy but better.

I agree with ginger ale! I usually have a glass whenever I get home from work because my sickness is touch and go all day.  Drinking something cold somehow just settles best with me, even in the AM. Though everyone is different!
  • 100%!  right before dinner!

I vomit at night when I'm brushing my teeth; not in the morning though which I think is weird. Maybe because I take my prenatals at bedtime
  • I'm really nauseous from 1am - 4am. I prop my head and back up on pillows and try to sleep at an incline or else I get indigestion and queasy.
  • Every evening around dinner time
  • I get it all day.when I'm nausated and start gaging I just try to get it out. Most of the time it's liquids or some bile that comes up . Only three times has it been pizza, rockey road icecream and pasta. Keeping a list of what dident work. Heard it eases up at 12 weeks so keeping fingers crossed. I'm 8 weeks started at 6 weeks and 8 weeks has been the worst so far. Early morning I wake up and lay in bed eatting chex rice cereal dry. Seems to help a little. Keep hydrated when possible.
