missed you ladies.....sorry been MIA!!!

Life gets hectic and stressful and that has been my excuse!
I intended on jumping back in 4 weeks ago but i had an unexpected change of priorities.

I became a mommy.........TO KITTENS!!!!!!!

Well 1 kitten at first. His mommy was captured in a cat trap and he was under a shed. A sweet, fluffy white approx 4 week old feral kitten. I spent 5 hours trying to capture him and I eventually did. Now he is tame, plump and about 8 weeks old now and the sweetest little thing!

Then 2 weeks ago I became a mommy to more kittens.

They are bottle-fed babies and the local rescue needed someone with experience in very young orphaned kittens. These ones were 10 days old. If anyone has ever done this.....reared orphaned newborn kittens it an around the clock undertaking. Sadly I lost 2 of them. Nothing to be done about it....it happens that way sometimes. The remaining 3 of the litter are getting bigger and stronger and going more than 2-3 hours between feedings and are now going potty on their own so while they are still a big undertaking its less demanding on me every hour of the day. They are almost 4 weeks old now and adorable!

Its kitten season and rescuers are busy!!!

Ive also been very very busy with work and its just slowing down. About to get busy again here in a few weeks though and Im good with that. I need the money!

Hopefully not busy enough to keep me away again though!

How is everyone?

Oh and before I forget. photos of my kitties!

    Welcome back my friend.
I have cared for newborn kittens. It's so much fun wiping their butts until they poop on you. Ah the joys of kitten hood.

    You are a kind soul.

I would adopt or foster kittens, but I am allergic.
    :(

Oh goodness no, i wont keep them. Im just fostering them for our local no kill shelter till they are old enough for adoption. They call me when they need help :) Its kitten season so a lit of help is needed.

In fact they called me today and asked me to take another one. So  I have one more.. A little orange girl. I picked her up from the shelter this afternoon and she is so sweet!

@Hooligans4 - yup i am frequently peed and pooped on! lol. Don't care......i love these stinky little babies!!!!
