My 4-Month Old Is Not Grasping the Cello

Hi--is anyone else having difficulty with their newborn not picking up on basic string-instruments? She is able to grasp the bow, but unable to execute anything so far that resembles music.

    I'm so glad I'm not alone in this, because mine is too!!!! I started mine out on a 12-string guitar thinking that more the strings, more chances of getting the notes right. So far, not working out :( thinking about heading over to bass next. Good luck with your LO!

    Ugh, same here. Such a disappointment. I've started my LO on the harp recently. I thought because there wasn't a bow, it would be much easier for her to pick up. SHE JUST ISN'T GETTING IT.
