Best places for maternity clothes?

Any suggestions for online shops that have great maternity clothes? I'm 5'4 and 106lbs. Finding maternity clothes that I'm not swamped in seems nearly impossible. Second child so showing a lot sooner and would love to be comfortable.

Re: Best places for maternity clothes?

  • I've found Old Navy and Gap to be good options thus far.  Good luck!!

  • I have the opposite problem at 6ft tall... I would suggest getting bottoms and summer dresses hemmed. It might be easier and less stressful than searching everywhere for the right length
  • I love old navy.
  • Old navy has great maternity jeans
  • depending on how fashion-forward you dress, Zara now has maternity and fits petite women nicely. Asos is fantastic, Topshop also is cut on the small side, H&M has some great basics. I've also been lurking on ebay for normal clothes that are cut in a way that would accommodate the bump like Joie, Eileen Fisher (petite), Maje, etc.

I find that Gap/Old Navy run comically large in addition to looking ill fitting/sloppy.
  • Old Navy online sells size 1, but I suspect you're smaller than that as I've found them to run large.  What I'm doing so far is a lot of maxi skirts that have soft waistbands.  On the other hand, I'm not really showing yet so I'm not working around a bump just wider hips.

  • Asos, h&m. I've hit up jcrew for bottom basics when they have 30% off sales. I wear tall so that's always fun too.
  • I love gap!
  • Motherhood Maternity has great petite pants. I'm 5ft 1 inch and was about 110 pre pregnancy. Motherhood's petite pants are a little too long for me, but I was able to find skinny jeans, shorts and work slacks that are really cute and comfy.
  • I found some great shirts at Buy Buy Baby, Target, and Motherhood.

I also got my two pairs of work pants from Motherhood!
  • I second motherhood maternity and pea in the pod. Loft also has petite maternity sizes. I'm short as well.
  • I'm 5'5" and 110 lbs pre-pregnancy (118 now). I got quite a few things from Target that fit well, though they're pretty basic pieces.
  • You have a Burlington coat factory near you then that is cheap and have super petite fashionable maternity clothes.
  • I got some amazing petite maternity jeans from Gap- though they were a bit pricey. An awesome and affordable option, if you're cool with online shopping, is thredup.com. It's basically an online consignment shop, but they have a huge maternity section, and they have fairly high standards as far as quality goes. Along the same lines, I've gotten some good deals from eBay- got 10 Old Navy Maternity casual shirts for $20!

  • Pink blush maternity! It's an online store and they have the absolute cutest clothes and they always have a sale going on!
  • Isabella Oliver has some great pieces and great quality!!
  • Check out thredup online. great brands in like new condition for pretty decent prices.
  • I'm 5'2" and currently 97 lbs.  Gap is the only place I can get pants that fit.  Petite, size 0.  Loft also has some nice stuff in smaller sizes.
