Any one else having this issue?

I am ebf'ing successfully and want to start introducing bm bottles however when I try to pump nothing comes out. A little Will come out if I Latch and delatch multiple times but if I hand express way more comes out. I know I'm producing milk and have no issues with supply. I don't want to hand express but I can't seem to get my pump to work for me. Any tips? Or if you have gone through this has it gotten easier?

What kind of pump are you using? I have a little hand pump but it doesn't work right if I don't hold it in the right position.

Be sure to start with the pump on a weak, fast setting. Then once u have ur letdown, switch it to a strong, slow setting. This mimics baby's sucking.

It could also be the nipple shield/flange. Make sure it fits your nipple and isn't too big or small.

I was never a great "pumper " with DS1. I did better with the manual pump really. Hoping to do better this time around.

With my first I had an ameda pump & a medela pump- I couldn't get anytging out fitg the ameda despite trying all the settings etc. I got a lot out with the medela... Not sure if it's the pump?
