ive been having horrible back pain.. I work an office job so I sit my life away in the same position! I put a menthol ice/hot patch on my back.. Didn't think anything of it, then I read the back after thinking and it says please ask a health care professional.. I can't really find anything online.. What do you guys think?
Re: Menthol ice/hot patch back pain?
On a sidenote- chiropractors that are trained in prenatal care are an excellent source for mamas to be with back pain. So long as you go to somebody that is reputable and does not try to get you to take x-rays or buy a package, you should be good. Also insurance can often cover a certain amount of visits per year.
At many chiropractors offices they sell back supports that are excellent for people that are seated all day. Another great trick is a lacrosse ball. You put it against the wall and rub your back up to it. Sounds silly, but it works!
Feel better!
