At 16 weeks its pretty safe to say it's correct, but nothing is guarantee. Please beware you may get the regulars that been on here since the beginning of time criticizing your post. They HATE ultrasound and gender questions.
1. STAHHHP. 2. Ultrasounds can't tell you gender. 3. Have patience. Most doctors wait until 20 weeks to ensure an accurate sex prediction. 4. Ultrasounds (especially 3d ones) are meant to ensure you have a healthy baby. Sex predictions are a bonus. 5. Read the boards and use the search function. People are about to get very short with you, because at least 5 of these posts are made every day.

I had my elective sex scan at 18w2d and there's no mistake he is a boy. However they found his penis first with 2D then put it back and forth through 3D. This ultrasound we paid for, and was simply to find out the sex. They do not tell us the sex during the anatomy scan here. Judging that you had 3D it would be pretty obvious by then. Congrats boys are amazing.
