Did you keep your bellybutton piercing in? or did you use a maternity bellybar or remove it altogether? Not sure what I wanna do and dont want to lose my piercing hole altogether
I'm keeping mine, but I have had to switch to a pregnancy nylon ring now that my belly button is disappearing and I am getting bigger. My question...it's so long! I don't know how I am supposed to wear it! Do you cut it shorter or...?
I took mine out when pregnant with my first. I don't recall there being those pregnancy navel rings when I was pregnant then, or at least I wasn't aware. If you don't want to lose the hole then use the maternity one if your regular one gets uncomfortable.
I have mine in still at 23+4 but I may replace it with the maternity one soon. I'm afraid my stomach will get really big out of nowhere and my ring won't fit. But I definitely not giving up the piercing. I'm going to ask my dr. today since I have an appointment.
If you keep in enjoy now because more then likely it will stretch out and it won't fit after. It was such a bad idea even getting it done in 1st place never thinking one day I want kids. Mine is so stretched out I have to get a big Gage but I never put back in after 1st.
I put a maternity one in but ended up taking it out. It was cute, even had a "baby on board" charm (ordered off Amazon) but after I started wearing maternity jeans and belly bands, it was uncomfortable. I guess if it feels comfortable, leave it in and if not just take it out.
My SO and mother forced me to take mine out at 3 months. My SO said it made my belly look ugly and my mother swore it wasn't lady like. Now at six months im kind of happy I did because it closed and it does look nicer in photos. Once baby boy is here mamas getting it repierced! Lol
