Every Single Song Brings Me to Tears

Okay I'm not an emotional person. I'm not sentimental or romantic or "mushy gushy" as we call it. Romance movies make me cringe. I roll my eyes at the perfect couple. I look at the world through very logical black and white and semi bitter eyes. I've never even had a hint of emotional PMS symptoms.

So why ALL OF A SUDDEN does every single song I hear make me cry?? We drove for two hours today and after 30 minutes of bawling from all of these new emotions I suddenly connect with songs, we resorted to NPR. I cried four times at the grocery store because of songs playing on the radio that made me emotional. I could barely hear them but I knew the words and that was enough.

Please someone tell me this lets up. I can't handle feeling all of these feelings :-S

I've never listened to Taylor Swift before becoming pregnant. But every time I hear shake it off I'm in tears and I don't know why. Everyone laughs at me.

I change the station for sad songs on the radio for this reason. Today I started tearing up watching re-runs of Doctor Who with my SO. I don't know if he'll ever let me live it down!

I cried at the end of Pitch Perfect 2. I was trying to make myself laugh so the person next to me didn't think I was cracked out on something. It was just so touching, and I NEVER cry at movies.

I cried watching The Simpsons last night. It was an episode where Marge finds out she's pregnant with Maggie and Homer has to leave his dream job at the bowling alley to work at the power plant for the money. Literally bawling.

When we were at the dealership the song I walked down the aisle to played and I got teary at the poor salesman's desk. I cry when the Jet Blue commercial with the pigeons comes on. There's no end to the fun of pregnancy hormones! Oh and watch our for TED Radio Hour on NPR! They snuck a sample of Finding Nemo in one episode and I almost wrecked my car I was bawling so hard.
