Anyone else totally brain dead these days??!

I feel like I'm loosing my mind a bit lately! I can't remember things for the life of me and it's driving me (and my husband) nuts! Anyone else??

    I was setting my next appt at the orthodontist and I swear the receptionist failed to say "ok we're all set" or some other indicator that I was done so I just stood there in a trance while the dvd menu for Finding Nemo played on a TV somewhere. After a minute or so of silence she started to make baby-related small talk and I followed along until I realized she thought I was sticking around to chat? I was so embarrassed I abruptly apologized and dashed out the door. Brain fart.

    Yes!! Last night I was ordering something from McDonald's because I'm super healthy, and I had just talked to my husband about what he wanted. I placed my order and drove around to the window and realized I forgot to order his food and had to go back through the drive thru again. In my defense, I had been shooting a wedding all day and was starving so I was very focused on getting my food. Haha

    I forgot to wash the dishes last night. And recently I started a batch of kale chips and forgot they were in the oven until an hour later when they were burned beyond recognition.

    Yes, we are getting an alarm system installed and I'm putting post its over the door handles because I'm sure I'll forget and set it off. Lord help me on remembering the code!

    My ability to multitask is gone. I hit the side of the garage backing out while talking to family in the car when they were in town. The husband will not be amused.

    @twogirlsandagreen I we have a couple of really tight turns in my parking garage at work that I seriously do like 4 times a day. Well apparently one day last week I didn't feel like it and scraped the crap out of my passenger door!

    Oh nooooo! I'm so sorry!!!! It took all of my will power not to cry when it happened. I hope it doesn't cost you a ton to fix. I will be rolling around with a busted mirror for a while ;p

    I haven't been forgetful, but I've been super clumsy. Dropping everything... Including a bottle of lotion on my own head. Actually, I'm almost impressed with that one.

    I did two things this week..I went to work an hour early by accident and today topped that..My pregnancy moment of the day...we went into diner and SO asked where car keys are, we went out and I left car running lol at least car was still there

    Yes OMG! I totally made plans to meet a friend for lunch today and stood her up because I forgot. I felt terrible. So we rescheduled for dinner. Fingers crossed I don't forget that too. Facepalm.

    It's been terrible...I've forgotten my purse places a few a times, walk into a room and forget why, went to the grocery store for one thing but end up with a buggy full yet forget the one thing I went for, this list goes on and on!

    I Totally am!! My older sons go to their dads for the summer so I usually send their Social Security Cards with them just in case. I Put them on the counter with some mail and managed throw them away!!!

    I left my car keys in my car and didn't lock the doors when we went to a sandwich place for dinner. My husband drove too, but in his defense my keys usually stay in my purse since I have push start. Thank goodness no one stole our car!

    Oh my gosh!!! I thought this only happened to me! I did this like 3 days in one week. Gotta love it.

    I have been randomly dropping things for weeks. Especially my keys. I'll be standing talking to a coworker with my office keys in hand and they just randomly drop. Or my purse. Or the bottle of soda I just bought, etc. Sometimes I'll go upstairs for something, stare blankly for about 5 minutes, then run downstairs to ask hubby what I had forgotten.  :-<

    Me. That's me. Brain dead. I took my daughter to Barnes and noble for some books this weekend and noticed at the checkout counter that my shirt was on inside out. Then we went to target. Got what we needed. I let her climb in her seat, I loaded up the car and quick put the cart in the cart holder near the car, got in the car and drove probably 3 miles and she goes "mommy, I don't think I'm buckled". No she was not! I forgot to go back and buckle her! Good thing she told me. So brain dead lately.
