Been having contractions since noon. They have been a steady 8 minutes apart for 4 hours. These suckers have me in pain, but the most pain is the contractions in my back. That hurts worse than my stomach. I am a ftm so I am ready for him to be here
Hunger. Constant hunger. I ate 5 freaking ~10" carrots, a handful of pecans, two handfuls of homemade fries, and drank a big glass of milk all in about 20 minutes yesterday at my peak of starvation and still felt hungry afterward. I even felt hunger pangs as I was eating!
Of course, I'm just torturing myself now - watching chopped while the aromas of dinner cooking waft through the air. :-< Such is life!
My poor Virginia. I feel pain with every step I take. I don't even want to walk anywhere. Good luck to all the ladies going into the hospital and having their babies! So happy for you all !
Nesting urges hit full force tonight. Rearranged our bedroom and found some paintings and pictures at a thrift store yesterday so I hung them all up. Rearranged LOs closet because I wasn't fully satisfied with it. Took everything out of the hospital bag and repacked it to be sure I had everything I wanted and needed. DH came home and looked at me like a crazy person hahah. It's bad ladies...
Oh and an insatiable desire for sweets right now. Baked a cake with stepson after dinner. When he asked me for a second piece I told him no and that he needed to get in the shower and get ready for bed. While he was in the shower I devoured my second piece of cake.....guilty. Do as I say, not as I do. That's a thing right? X_X
@fridaysdance Have I already tried my magnesium proselytizing on you? It worked wonders for my leg cramps. I take 400-800 mg/day per my doctor's suggestion. I have to take it by about 2:00-3:00 pm for my body to absorb it, otherwise the cramps wake me up at night. Hope you feel better!
All this practice labor being reported, wow - ladies, we are so close! How crazy! Wishing you all good days, good health, and healthy babies. Eye on the prize
Thank you so much for all the well wishes, friends! I had a remarkably easy labor, and I highly recommend the epidural - I was the most comfortable I've been in months!! I'll be checking in when possible, looking forward to seeing all of your birth announcements

Congratulations!!! Sooo happy for you, and so great to hear you had a good experience. Love her name and yay for redheads!!! Xo
Congrats @karaelaine1991 ! I second having an epidural. I can't imagine going without one if I ever have another child. Even with the epidural I'm not sure how I survived this weekend!
My pregnancy was super easy, so my karma was a tough labor, clearly!
@hoodoll82 neither can I! Did you get to bring Evelyn home yet? We're in the hospital till Wednesday (hospital policy) which is totally fine by me - I have zero interest in getting out of bed haha
