  I wish I could help but I'm kind of in the same position as you. I have experienced menstrual type cramps as well but no bleeding. I am 33 w 5 d pregnant and have been told my cervix is thinning early because of the baby being low. I have an appointment this week on Thursday so we will see. But it was excruciating lower back pain paired with the cramps. The only reason I didn't go to labor and delivery is because they stopped within an hour. I will ask my doctor though what this means and have him check me. When is your next appointment?

  I experienced them kinds of cramps at 34 weeks and spotting I went to the doctors because was unsure if it meant was going into labour I'm a FTM. Was told it stretching pains and my body adjusting to the growth of the baby.
  It carried on all the way till basically end of my pregnancy.
  At 36 weeks I started having them stronger and Lowe back pain went back to see midwife she said your body is just practicing for the real thing.
  I had my baby at 38 weeks and I tell you now them little cramps are nothing compared to the actually real contractions.

  I experienced this at 31 weeks. Apparently it was my cervix thinning. Keep an eye on it, some contractions can feel like menstrual cramps. When you feel like that, get a tall glass of water, lay down, and just drink and relax. If it doesn't pass within a half hour of finishing the glass, you should probably call your doc!
