Pp mentioned Maxwell looking good on a job application, I agree. DH works in HR and likes to look at applicants whose names pop out at him, a Maxwell would certainly get his attention.
We are actually naming our little guy Max Alan. We have a difficult to pronounce Portuguese last name, so we're all about the simplicity with first names and a family name for the middle. My husband also HATES nicknames and wants to name our children what we plan to call them. Of course the kids get nn from other extended family and friends, but we call them by their given names.
Re: Yet another boy name post- don't judge the decision is a hard one!
Max is a good nickname.
I would do Maxwell nn Max and I think it goes well with Cole good choices!
In any case, ❤️
