Graco Classic Connect 30 v Chicco Keyfit 30

DH and I are looking at car seats for our twins (expected arrival late August). My parents got us the Joovy Twin Roo and we're trying to figure out which car seat to choose.

I've heard positive reviews for both, but I'm curious as to why the Chicco is twice the cost of the Graco.

  • We have chicco 22. We like ours. It can carry babies who are 4lbs (I have no idea about graco, it may be the same)
The chicco 22 is less money than Chico 30 and only difference is weight. You will never keep a child in a bucket till 30lbs and remove the bucket from the car! Your babes will likely outgrow length restrictions first so the 22 lbs wasn't an issue for us

  • We adore our chicco keyfit 30 that we used for our son who is now 2 and used the chicco nextfit now for him. We will be using the chicco keyfit 30 for our twin boys when they come in last August. The ease of getting the car seat in and out of the car is what was important for us. And the carseat we used for our son for a year still looks new. My friend who has a son a year younger than mine has a graco and wishes she would have gotten the chicco because of the ease of use and better quality. She has actually purchased the chicco nextfit for when her son outgrows his bucket seat because she feels that chicco is easier to use and more comfortable.
