Marginal Umbilical cord

Does anybody that was diagnosed with a marginal umbilical cord have any information. Risks, complications, precautions.

    My doctor said it could cause a smaller birth weight and I'd have more growth monitoring ultrasounds, which I was already going to have due to Gestational diabetes. They said this is something newer they are checking.
