Gear for baby #2

I did a search, but couldn't find a thread for this:

Experienced Moms: What gear upgrades would you recommend? Is there any piece in particular that made changing from one kiddo to two easier? We were pretty gear light for DS1, but now he's all mobile and into everything. Maybe a large crate for the 2 yr old?  :D

    Hmm as a mum of 3 (expecting no4) I'm not sure there's one particular piece is recommend. There's the obvious - play pen for the older one, bouncer for the baby so you can manage a wee without the older one trying the kill the baby (that's what I had after having my son - 3 & 1/2 year age gap between him and my eldest) - a sling for the same reason, a double buggy (a good one), a bigger change bag etc etc. I suppose the best thing we've learnt is always being fair - that means buying the same/similar item for each child when out shopping - whether that's a toy, a cup, an ice cream etc . Kids are very good at judging when things are fair so be warned. Good luck xxx
