Hi ladies! Just thought it might be fun to share what you guys did for a "Babymoon" - whether it was a full blown trip on a plane or an overnight trip to the B&B down the street, or having the grandparents babysit so you could have some quality couple time before your little one's arrival..

My husband and I took a weekend trip to OCNJ (about a 3-4hr drive for us) for our Babymoon and it was wonderful. We filled up on pizza, ice cream, and all of the other awful things you're supposed to avoid

My hubby and I FINALLY got to go on our honeymoon after waiting over a year and I was 12 weeks pregnant, so I'm considering that a honeymoon/babymoon. It was a 7 night cruise through the Caribbean.

My DH and I went to Florida for a week when I was about 26 weeks. It was an awesome getaway especially from all the crap snow we had. We wanted to take one last trip before the girls came since we won't make it back until next summer. This is my DH holding all 3 of his girls

We went to Muley Point in October, Playa Mujeres for a week in November, and Tahoe/San Francisco for a week in March. Needless to say, we love to travel and have 2 post baby trips planned this summer with little man. So ready to show him the world!

Edited to add my DH just surprised me with a weekend away at a resort in the next town over...one last getaway! I sure do love that man.

Hubby is working on a hotel downtown for a night. Our friend works there and hopefully she can give us a discount. My only request is a pool. Haha

We were going to a friends wedding June 6th overnight at a resort a few hours away from home. It's a tourist destination in wisconsin and we were going to take advantage of it for a babymoon too since we would be there for the wedding. But now I'm now with not working on doctors orders we don't want to spend the money.
Oh well. We never had a honeymoon either so not a huge letdown

We went around the corner from our house to a nice resort and had lots of pool time, delicious food (and drinks for hubby), and relaxing. I felt like we were in a tropical destination but was able to relax since we were only 10 min to the hospital (being high risk and 35 weeks I refused to go far). It was awesome! I did miss my bed though.

We went down to Florida but due to a major snowstorm heading in back home, we had to fly back the next day (otherwise we would have been stuck down there for days and we had to go to work). Not an ideal babymoon by any means but we tried.

Hubby and I had a staycation. We went down to Denver and saw the Kongos live in concert one night and then went to a comedy club the second night. Also had two delicious dinners, one was upscale Mexican and the other was an amazing steakhouse. We were planning on going to Vegas, but after some price comparisons we ended up going the cheaper route and saved about $800.

We flew to Florida, to Tampa/Clearwater when I was 26 weeks, we left our 3 year old for the first time for an extended time. We had a great time doing nothing but sitting on the beach and eating. And a major plus was our daughter did amazing with her Nana!

My cousin got married in Nashvillle in February. DH and I took the opportunity to stay the night and spend the day together and have our little baby moon.

We went to St Croix when I was 20 weeks. Nice beach, but I wouldn't go back to the island. It was a if it could go wrong it went wrong vacation. We're going to Florida a couple months after the baby is born for our first family vacation.

DH and I went to sandals royal bahamaian in the Bahamas when I was 28 weeks. It was a perfect little vacation and a nice short flight for us (less than 3 hours from jersey). It was a slight bummer not being able to indulge in the all inclusive drinks but I more than made up for it with food and desserts lol

I wish. Grandparents are out of state so overnight babysitting is tough. And I need all the time off I have for when I'm on leave. Before our first, we spent a week in Belize and it was amazing.

We went to visit my sister and her new baby in GA for a few days when I was 27 weeks...not really a baby moon but we got to be away together for a few days which never happens between our crazy schedules.

We didn't take one and at 30 weeks we moved from Texas to Silicon Valley. I was trying to get DH to take me on a day trip this past weekend (Big Sur, Napa, Monterey...something!) but he's afraid of being too far in the event my water breaks. Needless to say I'm super annoyed. Just for that, I best get a damn good push present!

My partner and I travelled around USA for a month over Christmas 2014/15 (we're from Australia) I was 13 weeks pregnant when we left.

Had to say morning sickness got me bad with all the flying still the most amazing holiday.

P.s when had the holiday booked and paid for before we found out I was pregnant.

Hubby and I went to Mexico when I was 5 weeks found out 4 days before we left. Did put a damper on the wine tasting and atving we were gonna do.. but that's ok. Then for my bday/vday we went to Victoria canada. It was great we spent the night did the afternoon high tea, went to several pubs to try the local beer ( for hubby not me). Checked out the cool shops. So now lo has been to Mexico and canada! And of course has shirts from both. We were planning a 7 night Bahama cruise for april for our anniversary but we are pushing it back on year to go next year. This way lo can get quality grandparent time and I can enjoy all the drinks on the boat!
