How do you plan on your big reveal?

I'm 7w now, My Mother-In-Law is terminally ill shes the only one I've told so far.

We plan on telling our dads on Father's Day, so all the parents would know at that point.

On the 4th of July we plan on telling everyone at my sisters party, and after positing it on social media.

What are your plans?

I haven't told anyone yet apart from one local friend. All my family and best friends are on a different continent. We're going to break it to the parents on Father's Day, going to sign their Father's Day card from us both and baby, and if everything goes to plan they'll open the cards while we Skype them.

I'm not sure yet how to break it to my friends and extended family, hoping to see ideas here!

Everyone I would want to tell I've told, on the phone or in person (just said I'm pergnant). Waiting until 8-12 weeks and will post a picture on facebook.

We are going on a big family trip in two weeks. While I want to let my immediate family know, I want to still keep it a secret from the extended family. This is my third, so I bought my youngest daughter a "Middle Sister" shirt from Etsy. The night before our trip, we will all be over at my parents. I plan on having my youngest walk in wearing the shirt so my family can all find out at once.

For everyone else, I'll probably do some sort of picture with my girls.

Next month I will b telling my boss and office staff(who I'm pretty close to ) at work. I am going to bring in a box of goodies and put a pic of my sonogram on it with the following : Eat up! Mommy can't be the only one to have a belly! ❤️ my kiddos (having twins!!!!) I saw this on Pinterest I think.

Our parents, siblings, and close friends know already. We plan on telling my dads side of the family the day before fathers day at my cousins cookout. At that point I don't think I'll be able to hide my bump. With my 1st it was obvious at 14wks so at just about 12 I don't think hiding it'll be an option. I plan on telling my cousin who will be livid with herself for not figuring out I was pretending to drink last weekend at our cousins wedding because I need to see her reaction! I'll let them spread the news from there and let whatever cousins that aren't there know.
MIL is telling her side when she goes to their annual family reunion. Our grandmother's we'll call and tell or visit depending on their schedules. Everyone else will find out via fb sometime after fathers day or maybe on fathers day. Haven't decided yet!

We have a baseball game that we are going to on father's day weekend and half of the family will be there, so if our ultrasound goes well on the 8th we want to see if we can have an announcement done at the stadium

and then we will just find another way to tell the rest of the family.

Oh and my coworkers will probably find out around 10-13 weeks. My first appt is 10 weeks but I can't decide to share my news then or wait until I'm out of the 1st trimester.

Will be telling our family at our annual 4th of July picnic at my aunts. Thinking a cute shirt or something. Also currently making a wine. Will bottle it with a label to give to friends and family.

We have told our immediate families and some close friends... My husbands brothers wife is 20 weeks pregnant and his little sister found out the she was pregnant the same day that I did. SO all of us pregnant ladies are going to take a picture together with chalk boards that have our due dates on them to announce it to everyone else

We have told our parents, our siblings and our other children just (I'm only 6 weeks tomorrow) but I am waiting until 5th July to tell my friends, we are all having a huge picnic so I've bought a maternity top with "baby" written on it - I plan to wear it to the picnic and take off my cardigan at some point to reveal it. As for FB Im having a poster made from ebay which says "we are adding a little more love to our family, baby due January 2016". I think that's me done - not very inventive but all good

My cousin does custom chalkboard lettering, so I want to have her do something neat on a chalkboard saying bun in the oven. I'd like to be holding the sign with my hand in an oven mitt up to my mouth, kind of an oh my! gesture while my partner peeks inside the oven.

I did some big brother pictures with DS the other day. Signs about baby #2 and being a big brother. They're pretty cute. We plan on telling the rest of my family when I visit home in July, and DH's family when we have a reunion in August. Since it will be so close to the 20 week scan at that point, we are going to wait until we know the gender to announce on Facebook and to everyone else.

We posted a picture of us wearing kc royals gear and said "new royals fan coming January 2016". We're big baseball fans so it worked for us.

Last pregnancy, we were thinking of a custom onesie with "Team Latveria" (Dr. Doom's homeland), World Lacrosse Championship 2036/2038, whichever is appropriate when we find out the sex. Still like that idea, so much geek to pack into one garment, and will be interesting to see how long it takes our online friend groups to figure out all the parts of it. Anyone have good or bad experience with any of the online shops?
