They found only the gestational sac. I'm suppose to be between 6-7 weeks. Doctor made an appointment for me for Wednesday to see if they can find a baby or heartbeat.
I went in and had my US done may 12th. I was supposed to be 7 weeks at that point and all they found was the sac. No yolk. The doctor came in and said I must have ovulated later because I was only measuring 4 weeks and 6 days.
Today I'm 7 weeks, for real. Finally. And I go back in for a second U/S June 11th. I'll be almost 9 weeks. And I'll be able to finally hear a HB possibly.
I will hope for the best for you. Your timing could definitely be off.
That said (and not to be a downer), but unfortunately for me it did not turn out well. Before my second daughter was born I went through the same thing. I went in around 7 weeks and they saw a sac only. They monitored my betas which never increased and ultimately I had a miscarriage from a blighted ovum.
Try to stay positive. It's hard to think about anything else until your next appointment, I know that. When I was going through it, I read many stories of bad timing and things working out fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
my bloodwork showed a rise in HCG. on May 19 my HCG was 4500 and today it was 12,000... they told me that her report says "healthy sac measuring 6w2d, possible fetal pole, no yolk sac or heartbeat" She has hope since there was a small rise in HCG but that a level above 10,000 she usually finds a heart beat. They said to keep taking my progesterone and that I will see them Wednesday.
She sounded like she was trying to stay positive but knows it may not turn out well.
So I'm trying to stay positive but it's really hard. Hoping for the best, but preparing myself to say goodbye to the group.
