Gripe Water for Gas?

My LO has really bad gas that prevents her from falling asleep most nights. We have tried gas drops without much success so I think gripe water is the next step. Has anyone had success with this? And if so, which brand do you like?

    Have you tried pumping her legs to help relieve the gas? We tried gas drops, the leg pumping & trying to get as many burps as we could but the doctor eventually suggested we try the gentle ease formula. Not sure if your LO is FF or BF but ask your pedi if all else fails.

    We tried gripe water and I feel like it upset my little man's tummy more than anything. Our pediatrician said sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. I hope it works for your LO.

    We use the Mommy's Bliss gripe water. It seems to calm him down. There is also a product called the Windi by the same makers as the Nose Frieda. Might be worth a try.

    We also use Mommy's Bliss and it works pretty well for us. But I second the Windi recommendation. It's amazing! The immediate relief on baby's face makes it so worth it.

    I use little remedies gripe water stuff works awesome for my son! Even gets rid of hiccups in a snap! \:D/

    I don't have the Windi, so I'm not sure. I love the Nose Frieda, so
    I wouldn't hesitate to try the Windi if our tummy troubles get worse.

    @juliaandpatrick Yes it does! We haven't had to use it in the last few weeks bc baby's gas has improved a lot. But we went through a stage where we used it almost every day. It works amazingly well. She'd be all bunched up and screaming and her stomach would be hard. We'd put it in and immediately it'd make this kazoo like sound as her gas went out and we'd watch the stomach practically deflate in front of our eyes. Her whole body would loosen up and you could see the relief in her face instantly. The gas relief was always followed by a huge poop (a lot would come out in the Windi also, but a full diaper soon after too). We LOVE the windi! Check out the reviews on Amazon, they're all 5 stars for a reason!

    I tried Mommy's Bliss and it was a nightmare. LO threw up and I thought it was due to too much milk. However, she started to have a rash and two occasions of projectile vomiting. After second bout of projectile vomiting she went limp and really scared us. Gave her a cool bath which woke her up and back to being herself. After that, I went researching and realized that other moms had some similar issues. Now rash is all gone.
