We are Catholic and trying to plan our daughter's baptism. The reception afterwards is overwhelming me. Due to the mass times, we will have to host either a lunch or dinner afterwards. I can't see a way around it. Problem is the expense and location. We have 30-40 family that will be attending. Our home is not big enough and it's expensive to feed that many people. Any advice on other options I'm not considering? I need to find a way to make this more manageable.
Re: Baptism help
As for food - you could say a light lunch will be served. Then do something simple like sandwiches. Or do appetizers and dainties.
Or do a make your own sandwhich station (buy platters from Costco or deli), and a variety is side salad salads and chips.
