My baby is the size of a cauliflower, but my bump is the size of a peanut.
I'm tall (5'9), long waisted and am BARELY showing. I had a co-worker tell me how great I looked and thought i was only a few months pregnant. When I told her I was six months (25 weeks) she was SHOCKED. This has happened a few times, usually followed by a statement of disbelief.
Everything with baby is healthy and on-track. I can feel him kicking regularly, so I'm not worried and am thankful everything is healthy, but it is still kind of sucks to not be part of the big bump club.
Anyone else here that could be a candidate for "I didn't know I was pregnant?" Let's hold hands and sign kum ba yah. And eat smores because we're pregnant, even if no one can tell.
Re: Small Bump Camaraderie
I'm 5'1" and started very thin (yay!). Strangers can tell I am pregnant. Even with this, last night, I felt like I just looked like an Oompa Loompa instead.
But until this week, I was able to cover it up if needed
My mom with the same body type said she didn't pop til 8/9 months and said she just looked a little chunky until then.
I'm 5'4" with a long torso and got some shocked responses at tonight's neighborhood block party! Most were complimentary though and for that I truly don't mind! One neighbor, who had her 4th in February said she could always see her toes, with every pregnancy! Everyone comes in different sizes and shapes.. I'm having the most fun with my larger than ever boobs! I do second the posts about getting into maternity jeans/ruched tops, they accentuate what bump is there. When people respond unfavorably, I politely tell them- "She is definitely in there, kicking constantly... I'm sure I'll pop soon. Look at Dad (he's 6'4"!)"
I'm 5'8", thin, with an hourglass figure. My tummy has always been nonexistent. So I do have a tiny round bump, but now I guess I just look 'normal' instead of like I'm wearing a corset(which pre-pregnancy I would get asked all the time to the point I would have to show them my skin/tummy to prove it was 'just me')
My DH finally gets why I'm so annoyed because he said the lady was acting really weird after she found out how far I was! Haha
When will people learn, pregnant or not, ALL BODIES ARE UNIQUE!!! Sheesh.

I definitely wear maternity pants, but I can still wear a lot of my old shirts. The pants help round it out a little.
The bump has popped and I can tell, but it's definitely still on the small side. It's about where a coworker was at like 18 weeks. For a point of reference.
My physical therapist every time she sees me says "I can't believe your pregnant" but she says it so sweetly it doesn't bother me. It's the women that act like I'm harming my baby cuz I don't have a bump they drive me crazy!
