  I'm not sure you can tell human baby until the anatomy scan. It might be hiding a tail.

  Hints of velociraptor in there, but you won't know for sure until your 47 week scan, as the velociraptor can look very similar to a Utahraptor until that point. I'm going by the angle of the toe as that could develop into a talon. Have you tried peeing on your living room carpet? If the puddle makes a U shape it's definitely a Utahraptor!! How exciting!! Good luck.

  Wow that's amazing clarity in those scans. Congrats on twins!!!! One must have been hiding this whole time if you didn't find out until 47w! Crazy how that happens so frequently.

  Thank goodness for this post, I've been scared to start something similar but I'm having concerns my child is a duck. What do you guys think?? Can you see the beak??

  Well it is VERY early to say, but according to studies conducted by anonymous, reliable internet sources there are several things to consider.

  
  

  The Mayan lunar soil calendar:  If you conceived on the 3rd Sunday of the month you're having a human baby, but if any other Sunday of the month it could be a hobbit.  Any other day of the week and there is a 99.9% chance you're having an alien.  

  
  

  The revised nub theory:  if you see any line anyone on the baby's body... it's a boy.  

  
  

  The head presence theory:  If there is a large mass sprouting off the body, you have a human baby in there.  If there is a small mass sprouting off the body, you have an alien in there.  If you have no mass sprouting off the body, you have a crab in there (or crabs... I'm not here to judge)

  It's ok my OB told me it looked liked somebody took a gummy bear and stuck it in my uterus lol

  She does have a great sense of humor lol she's really awesome lol but she's also a trained tech so she does everything lol she is super funny and makes jokes a lot lol my last appointment she told me that my baby was a wiggle worm and the baby was punching the Doppler lol

  Haha love this thread! Love when us techs can have a laugh as well mine said he couldn't guess the gender yet but if it wasn't what I wanted I could always sell it on the black market haha I was like wow your funny thanx for making my us more relaxed! Good laugh and congrats on your human baby I wasn't told if mine is human or not I'll be sure to check at my next scan!

  I think mine is a tapeworm and not human. Since getting past week 13, my appetite is back and dead serious about eating everything within arm's length. I sent my poor husband on a 20 minute drive to my favorite ice cream joint last night at 8:40pm because "the baby needed it".
