Craving garlic chips - can I?!

Have a huge craving for fish and chips with garlic mayo but not sure am I allowed to eat the Mayo?! Can't imagine chip shop Mayo is home made?! Trying so hard to be healthy but feel like I need a treat tonight! Any thoughts?!

    There isn't any reason to avoid mayo, but you should avoid homemade mayo as it is made with raw eggs which we should not be eating right now.

    Yeah I don't eat much Mayo as a rule but major goo on me now so suppose could just ask the person to be sure!
