Anyone else dealing with this? The balls of my feet are so sore in the mornings but it eventually goes away after walking around (and whining). Is this a pregnancy thing, or just me?
So sore. I try to leave my slipper right by where my feet tough the floor (they're almost like clogs) just for a little more support as I try to stand. I sometimes feel like I need a walker to get moving. But like you, once I'm up and moving, it bets better.
I did some research online and it might be caused by the hormone relaxin that allows our pelvic bones to spread - it also relaxes the ligaments in feet and makes the bones spread. Ugh!
I had this when I was working long hours in retail. Turned out to be plantar fasciitis. After I quit my job and quite wearing flip flops for a while it healed on its own with an occasional flare up. I'm sure being pregnant makes you more prone to this kind of pain because the same hormone that causes muscles and ligaments to stretch for baby are also working on your feet. That's why some women find themselves in a larger shoe size after having a baby.
