Laying on either side makes me so nauseous! And I need to start going to bed earlier because I'm waking up by 7:00 am now, no matter what time I go to sleep. Sucks because I'm a total night owl. 39 weeks today! So all normal and fine, really. And today is our wedding anniversary so waking up early means extra DH cuddles. I'll take it!

Heartburn all the way up my throat and I just want to fall back asleep but can't lau down and get comfortable, ugh! And LO is protesting to every side lying position im trying.
I too am up with insomnia at 3:30 am right now. Heartburn and DH left bed because it's too hot in here. Plus cat just decided to cough up a hairball loudly.
Although I know the real reason I'm up is that it's my last day working in the office and I'm anxious about getting everything done and wanted to go in early. But not this early!!
@lovethatcolosun I also has a resurgence of RLP this week making it hard to sleep on my side. What gives?
I had trouble sleeping last night because of raging heartburn and anxiety about things to come... So I'm very tired and I'll probably be cranky today.
Also, the left side of my lower back, butt, and leg are KILLING me. I don't know what the reason for this pain is (other than pregnancy in general) but it seriously needs to quit.
I'm 38+5 today and I'm so ready for this baby to come out.
Switching back to days has messed up poor baby's schedule which in turn has messed up when I feel it move which in turn has messed up my brain. I spent a solid hour up last night willing it to move and all these terrible thoughts going through my head. Ugh.

38w6d. Tired(duh) can't get comfortable, Lo's kicks are Less cute more "ow". I just feel like I'm in a daze and I want this kid out already so I can remember what it feels like to think straight and have energy.
Holy sh*t guys, my water just broke. Maybe that is why I couldn't sleep?! Guess I'm headed into the hospital in a few hours with either contractions (none so far) or looking at a dose of pitocin. See you on the flip side!! I'm 38.5 today.
I'm weepy today. And I have a headache. I sleep like crap and am up at 5 am like clock work every morning, mind you bedtime has gone from like 9 to midnight so 5 am is no bueno.

I did not have a great sleep last night because of back/pelvic pressure, cramps, getting up to pee every 20 minutes, and RLP...all of which is confirming to me that baby either dropped or is in the process of dropping. So that's exciting! I do still want her to stay in at least until EDD though. I especially would prefer that she not come today. It's my BIL's birthday and FIL is visiting. I want her to have her own birthday and the thought of FIL being here when I go into labor straight up terrifies me (he is very difficult to deal with). Silly reasons maybe but I'm hoping baby cooperates and stays put!

I'm still just laying in bed. I feel like LO didn't move as much as normal when I'd wake up in the middle of the night. He moved a normal amount yesterday so I'm sure he's just tired. As I type I felt some kicks so Yay! Other than that just sore & achy. I took the day off with so I'm planning to go walk the mall with the old people and finish washing baby clothes.
Good luck @hoodoll82!! DH left to go to work early and since he set 3 alarms and let them all go off, I'm wide awake. I just lost my mucous plug as I write this (again). Lost it at 36 weeks. Feeling a bit swollen now and stiff. At my appt on Tuesday, I brought this up to my OB who said "it's okay, you actually still have ankles so I am not worried". Hope everyone has a happy, healthy day.
My Brackton Hicks are out of this world. I have one about 40% of the time and sometimes they are super powerful and you can see the shape of the baby like it's being suctioned or something! Midwife said it could go on for weeks!

Feeling better today. Yesterday doc cautioned me about a few things, warned me that if bleeding starts there could be a tear in the placenta (stomach drops each time I think about it). If anything else happens that suggests something could be wrong, they'll induce me. I'm praying not though, and so far so good! Doctors have cautioned us about lots of possible obstacles this pregnancy, and although we always take it very seriously, we've put lots if effort into prayer and have overcome each one.
Although I've been asked to come in right away if my water breaks, etc. They would prefer if my labour progressed while I was at the hospital. So now it's just a waiting game, and hoping the LO spends more time cookin in there before arriving!
Two nights ago I had a dream I had my BS (in my dream, hubby posted about it in FB..rude! Lol I was so mad!) we laughed about it in the morning then I climbed out if bed and the BS happened lol. And all last night I dreamt about my water breaking lol, guess we'll see what today brings!

I did sleep last night (with the lamp on dream thread ladies) out of pure exhaustion. The pedi and Starbucks sound amazing guys!!! That is what I am going to go do today now!

I've got some terrible RLP that also randomly decided to come back in the past few days and a nasty hemorrhoid(sorry TMI) that doesn't hurt all that bad it's just more annoying and gross. Other than that I'm just feeling uncomfortable and ready to pop! I'm beyond ready to meet my baby girl and hold her in my arms!!!
I gotta say, I'm the most comfortable I've been in weeks, since my water broke. Much more mobile, and no contractions that I can tell. I'm sitting around the house waiting until 12:30 when I can call my doc and take next steps. Probably just the calm before the storm but I'll take it!
I'm in so much pain I've been having contractions since Friday night. Yet I'm only dilated to a 3. Went to hospital yesterday and was treated for the beginning stages of a uti. I can't wait til it's all over

For me...lightning crotch is still going. I like to describe the feeling as if someone took a baseball bat and just hit me at full swing. Swelling. Hands going numb in my sleep. And I'm sure there's more. I'm still extremely anxious since having my membrane sweep and now I'm just regretting doing it because I'm a bit disappointed nothing has changed. Buttttt oh well....baby will come when she comes !

And my symptoms? I really can't complain, just fatness so far. I've concluded my giant cankles are most definitely not swelling and just fat. So i'll be the sexy pregnant rocking my compression sleeves every day lol. but other than that, i'm sleeping pretty well, not commuting, acid reflux is minimal, oh but i'm gassy like whoa. Maybe shouldn't have had french onion soup yesterday.
Regardless, it's the last weekend of MAY!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!
My feet have swollen now so I officially can't wear flats/slip on shoes anymore. And I had a similar experience with the hospital and UTIs last night, went there cause I had some cramps and spotting and wanted to check on baby, and they gave me a prescription for amoxicillin for the start of an infection. Baby is good, just a precautionary thing.

Not a symptom, but thoroughly annoyed that I have to attend a last minute baby shower for us at my DH work. Not to sound ungrateful, but I really don't want to go b/c it will be awkward! I barely know these people, it's at his work HQ, and he works for a huge Fortune 500 company. I just feel weird accepting and opening gifts from all these people that I don't know. Ey-yi-yi

I feel annoyed that I have our family baby shower tomorrow. I also don't want to seem ungrateful, but I'm big, tired, and uncomfortable. I feel your pain and I know everyone that will be there.
Having bad menstrual cramps, leg cramps, back pains you name it! I can't wait for this to be over... My doctor told me her goal is to get me to 41 weeks because my baby is small ugh! Due date is Tuesday but I guess we will just have to wait!
ETA: I've also been put on strict bed rest... Told not even to wash the dishes %-( :-q
Still feeling the pelvic pressure today (tho not as bad as last night). My brain, obsessed with wondering if you can feel yourself dilate, is insisting that exactly that is happening. Feeling very blah today otherwise. And pretty emotional the past 2-3 days. Feeling ALL the feels. At least I have an appointment in an hour and half and my brain will finally know for sure if it is correct or not.
@laurendutch I feel for ya! I get them often but the good news is shingles meds are safe during pregnancy. My Dr also told me that the baby could be born immune to chicken pox so that's a plus too. I hope it isn't painful and passes soon.
@hoodoll82 yay! I can't wait to see your announcement. You seem so calm. If my water broke I'd be a mess even though I've done this before. Good luck, I hope everything goes smoothly.
I was put in bed rest for the next 10 days and I'm actually thankful. everytime I stand up my catheter starts draining blood, talk about scary. turns out I just have a hypersensitive bladder right now and have a few stones bouncing around that can't pass through. good news is it will all be over in 10 days or so. bad news is I have to have surgery to remove all the stones right after I have the baby.
