Terrified...

so I know a lot of posts use to be made about this and I looked and didn't find one but...

I'm freaking out because I started to have some light pink bleeding..has anybody else experienced this? I'm 17w4d and I haven't had any type of bleeding since week 8...I'm so paranoid that something happened..I don't have my doctors after hours number so I can't call or I can always call the hospital that I go through but I didn't want to do that yet until I know it serious..


Sorry I'm just really freaking out right now... :(( :-S

    I'm sorry you're freaking out. Did you do any physically strenuous activity today? I know it can happen all throughout pregnancy, is there any cramping? I don't have any experience with this aside from occasional blood tinged discharge, but I'm thinking what you're experiencing can be normal. I would call your doctor first thing in the morning to see what they think.

    I think the general consensus is that light spotting is usually nothing to worry about, as long as you aren't experiencing any cramps or other concerning symptoms.  I know there are other threads about spotting/bleeding, though...

    Do you not have your midwife out of hours number? If not I would ring her first thing this morning and say you would appreciate being checked out for your peice of mind xx

    Light pink spotting is fine. Bright red bleeding or a flow like a period is need for concern.

    No there was no cramping or anything and that you guys for helping me put my mind at ease..I think I wouldn't have gotten so freaked if I hadn't only had it until week 8..thank you guys
