I was dropping my almost 2-year-old at daycare today. His room is age 18 months to 36 months. A classmate of his saw me with the newborn (7 weeks old). He looked at her, then looked at me, then asked if there was another baby in my belly.

I don't know if I should go workout or just drown my sorrows in ice cream.

    Ha!

    Right after Payton was born, our Pastor's son looked at her and ask if that was my baby from my belly. When I told him it was he asked if I could put her back. Hahaha. Umm, no.

    Just wait till they get bigger and start flapping their gums.  We were in the grocery store not long ago and my 3 year old saw an elderly lady who had a sizable snout.  My daughter says in what feels like a scream.....Mommy that ladys nose is so big!  Why is it so big?  Mommy look, Mommy, over there and points.  I wanted to be swallowed up in the floor.  Luckily I don't believe the woman heard us and I was wheeling aways as quickly as I could.

    I know what you mean @mattandlora - I went for a walk (alone) the other day and saw the architect we used a few years ago - she said she didn't know I was pregnant again and when was I due? Um...had the baby several weeks ago! And that comment was from a grown woman, not a toddler!

    @xuxachi that seems forgivable, I look about 20 weeks pregnant at 11 days out. :)

    Agree it's totally forgivable, but not so nice for the self esteem - I sure am motivated to eat better and get out for those walks until I get cleared for exercise. The free pass on eating whatever I want is over - and honestly I'm ready to get back to normal eating and activity levels.
