Can't breathe, ribs crowded, Suffering

Ok so I am 35 weeks and I am so uncomfortable. My girl is pushing on my ribcage and pushing out her butt all the time. I can't breathe and I can't sleep. There is no comfortable position anymore for sleepinvg. Really want to give birth asap! I have another whole month left though! Hoping she will drop a little soon so I can have some relief. Anyone else there feeling this now?

  • I could've wrote this. Wow seriously out of breath just from walking from the stove to the kitchen sink lol

Also suuuuuuper hormonal... flying off the handle and crying at the tip of a hat! Didn't have this last pregnancy!

  • Yup! Problem breathing and everything and I'm on bed rest! When I go to the bathroom or anywhere...it takes FOREVER
  • I am not liking these because I think it's great but because I sympathesize with you all
  • Yeah I am pretty irritable as well. Everything bothers me. Sometimes I have good reason but my reactions are much more dramatic
  • Oh my goodness, Im right there with you 33 weeks and I fell like shes is doing a hand stand feet in rib cage and I cant breath... I'm ready to have my baby girl also...
  • Yup, that pretty much sounds like me exactly, OP. Except I still have over 7 weeks left. I toss and turn all night! I feel bad for my poor hubby, he says he doesn't notice so hopefully he really is sleeping through the thrashing lol.

  • My ribs hurt so much, I can't sit up. But I also just ate so hopefully once my food digests I'll get some relief.
  • Try lifting one arm at a time up as you inhale and down as you exhale it helps reposition baby. It's the only thing I've found to help my ribs from feeling bruised and broken.
  • Yes my rib cage hurts sooo bad! It feels like someone's breaking my ribs one by one. & I can't even roll over in bed without running out of breath lol
  • Wow, well glad I am not the only one. My friend who is due the same week as me says she has all her pain in her groin. I get some pangs here and there but not too bad.
  • I'm so glad other moms are feeling this way. My girl is SUPER stretched out! Her feet are in my lungs, her head in crunched into my pelvis. My bladder is squished 24/7, and her little butt and legs keep popping out of my sides. I'll be honest - it's not comfortable, and I'm ready for the next few weeks to fly by.

And to make it worse, I'm in class most of the day (awkwardly shifting in my seat, negotiating lung space with her little feet) but when I try to get up and walk around,, she just slides back down to my pelvis...There are literally moments where I wonder, "could she just slip out?" because she puts so much pressure on my body haha.

I've heard the last few weeks are the longest...gosh I hope that's not true.

Yikes, do they wiggle a lot in there or is there no real room for them to push out and move?

^^^ no more room so I just feel them rolling around. Around 26 weeks was really fun though, it was like constant MMA fights. Lol now the BH contractions are just horrid. Ugh ladies we r so close to being done! I just scheduled my C for June 30 and am counting the days!!!

  • @LAO12 Oh. Man. You are such a freaking champion! I feel bad for even complaining, haha. I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes really smoothly and just flies by with ease! :)

^^ don't feel bad, that was not my intent! I was measuring ~30w for single around 20w gest. So I know what stages you Ladies are in and feel your struggles....I did my fair share of complaining too! That's when I got the cradle support belt and it is AMAZING.
