need suggestions not playing softball related

After thinking about it for awhile i decided I will stop playing softball this year. however, I'm already two months into the season on both teams. My bf plays on one of the teams with me. I don't know how to tell them I can't play without telling them. Please give me your ideas suggestions?

  • Ha. So I'm in the same boat. I will go back after baby, but so far I have still been playing this season. I won't be around for the next two weeks. That gets me to 8 weeks, but not sure what to do to get to 12 weeks.

Use a plausible medical excuse that doesn't require explanation.

@monilee1017 No, my son usually goes to the games. Most of the players are other couples with children. And I will still be going to the games everyother weekend. My bf plays on the team and it is about 45 min from our house.  :-S Considering telling them I injured my hand or something and I cant play till it gets check... Hope they are not suspicious...
  • Say you found out you had mono and didn't even know it, but your spleen is still enlarged. I actually had to stop playing softball when I really did have mono!
