NST??

Any other mamas have to go in during the third trimester for NST's (non stress test) ?? I was told since I'm diabetic I have to go in starting at 32 weeks, twice a week until the end! I'm just curious why!

    I had them with my last pregnancy. They just monitor baby and uterus for 20-30min. Any significant changes in Heart rate from baseline could indicate fetal distress and would result in further testing.
    TTC since 10/09 Me-43 DH-44 RE and testing 10/10-11/10, Recommending IVF 1/11 New RE AMA and DOR-DH low motility IVF #1.1 cancelled 3/11 due to poor response IVF #1.2 May 2011, one perfect 8-cell embryo, 3dt-BFN, IVF #2.1 Converted to IUI d/t poor response. New RE 9/2011. IVF 2.2 completed using HGH,EPP,DHEA, Q-10 and accupuncture. Transferred one 8-cell, grade one embryo on 10/19. BFP 10/31/11 Chemical pregancy on 11/2/11. Started stims for IVF #3, our final try, on 12-2-11. ET on 12/18. Transferred 3 Grade A embryos-BFFN Planning DE IVF, late March/early April- Donors ER expected to be 4/2-4/4. PAIF/SAIF welcome

    Im going throught the same thing myself i have gestational diabetes she also told me ultrasounds roughly every 2 weeks as well excited to see my lil guy more but not thrilled with all these extra appts

    I have to go in for weekly NST starting at 32 weeks to more closely monitor the twin pregnancy.  I suppose the upside of modified bedrest is that I am not trying to juggle all the extra appointments with work anymore.

    FET 3/28/14; BFN - 4/7/14
    IVF #2 - Transfer 2 embryos 11/14/14; BFP 11/24/14 - Beta 265;
    11/26/14 - Beta 612; 11/28/14 - Beta 1263; 12/1/14 - Beta 3571;
    12/3/14 - first u/s - two gestational sacs; 12/17/14 - two healthy heartbeats (132 and 134)
    Our IVF miracles were born 7/16/15
