Hi all!
I've been lurking around here for a little while now and finally have decided it was time to rip off the bandaid so to speak and say hello.
My DH (30) and I (29) have been actively TTC now for the past 2 months. I came into this with a pretty nonchalant (and maybe a bit naive) attitude thinking 'I don't need OPKs and temping to do this... This will just 'happen' for me', but following along the past few months I realized I needed to take more control of the situation and learn a little bit more about what is actually going on with my body.
I've been tracking CM and AF with Fertility Friend the past 2 months. No temping or OPKs yet, but those are on their way so I'll begin tracking that starting next week. I'm actually pretty excited to start with that, don't know why I didn't start it sooner tbh.
On a non-TTC note:
DH and I are both big Disney fans - we have annual passes and probably go way too much (if there's even such a thing as too much Disney...). We both could be considered 'nerdy' or 'geeky' in terms of other interests and I'm sure that will definitely come across in some of my posts.
I also enjoy distance running. Half marathons, marathons, that kind of thing. Crazy I know, but my excuse when it started was that the race was at Disney running through the parks so it has to the fun right?
Well I think that's all I wanted to say... If not I'm sure I'll have plenty of other opportunities to put myself out there. Anyway, hopefully I haven't been too annoying this far and look forward to getting to know you guys!
