How many clothes is necessary for a new born baby?

I have many friends that have babies and told me that they uses this kind of clothes sometimes less tan 1 month. I want to looking for clothes for my baby that will born in the firsts days of July.

My LO was born at 8 lb 5 oz and he wore newborn clothes for about a month.

We got by fine with around 10-15 onesies, 3 pairs of pants, 3 footed sleepers and 3 swaddlemes to sleep in. We do laundry about twice a week. Good luck. Socks are nice when it's chilly. Depending on where you live, and if July is super hot, you may just need a lot of onesies for a sweaty little one.

My son was born at 8lb 3 oz and he wore NB size for about 2 or 3 weeks. Woke up one day and couldn't squeeze him into his clothes anymore so I had to go buy 0-3 months. If I were you, I would buy a few necessities in both sizes. He's almost 2 months and already in 3-6 month size clothes. They grow fast!

Thank you !!!. Because I was not very sure about the number of clothes and size that need a newborn baby. Do you recommend buy cltohes in size 0-3 or new born size?

I didn't see a lot of 0-3 months clothes around...so we mostly had just NB stuff. I agree...a mix might help you, but I don't think you need two full sets because there isn't a huge difference in size between the two of them.
