Did anyone have their water leak vs break/gush?

been having small gushes of fluid like my water might be leaking. I know it's a small percentage of women who have their water break naturally. So I'm sure it's pry not my water but maybe just discharge but I tell Ya it sure feels like I keep peeing myself even tho I just went to the bathroom. Contractions are starting to pick up too so either way I hope this is it!

Mine did until it fully broke a few hours later. I knew for sure once I had gone pee and then felt like I was peeing again even though my bladder was empty. Good luck!

Nobody can figure out when my water broke. After 20+ hours of labour, the doctor decided to break my water to move things along. But when he went to do it, my water wasn't there. He just looked at us and asked "ok. So when did it break?" And none of us (me, DH, my doula and the nurse) knew what to say. We still have no idea when it broke because no one noticed.

Mine was a small leak at first. 15 minutes later all hell broke loose and it gushed for quite a while, haha.

I was at hospital with contractions for a few hours then I went to the bathroom and had blood do I told the nurse and she told me to lay on the bed so she can check me.. Once I lay down my water exploded and she was born 20 mins later

My contractions started picking up do iwent to the hospital to get checked. One i got there i started leaking and they did i was in active labor even though I was only 3.5 cm but contrax were five minutes apart. They tested the water and it was amniotic fluid. My actual water didn't break til the nurse was checking my cervix and accidentally broke it. I would go to the hospital and have them check it

Mine must have been a leak. I had a really fast L & D and after my daughter was born and paperwork was being filled out, they asked when my water broke and we couldn't really figure it out.

Mine was a couple big gushes while I was at the hospital. There was no mistaking that was what it was!

Well my contractions picked up and we ended up going to the hospital. At 8cm now, got an epidural and started stalling so they have started pitocin because the baby is still high and don't want to break water in case it causes cord pro lapse

Mine gushed, then gushed again with each contraction -that was a fun trip to the hospital- then when they checked for dilation, it went gush one final time.

Mine broke at home but I didn't progress for hours. It was definitely broke, I was puddling! I just threw a depends on (I bought them just in case my water broke in public lol) and that solved keeping car clean lol

Mine leaked when it broke. It smelt mildly like bleach. When I got to the hospital two hours after it broke, I was already 5 cm dilated. Put on a pad and lay down- if it gets soaked, your water probably broke and is leaking instead of a gush.

Yes! I was having contractions 2-4 minutes apart and right before we left for hospital my underwear felt very wet, but didn't gush. Sure enough, when we got to triage the confirmed my water had broken at the top, which was why it was just a little.
