I'm a FTM and currently 14+5 weeks and the tiredness and lack of motivation hasn't lifted

Same here! 15 weeks today and still exhausted and definitely lacking all motivation! This is my second pregnancy and I was not like this with my DD. Hoping it ends soon, my house is a disaster! Lol!

I'm at 16w 4d and while there's not an energy surge for me, I'm not as tired as I was the first trimester. I feel like I was at minimal functionality the first trimester and now I'm at somewhat functional.

Glad I'm not alone. I also had more energy with my last pregnancy. I have so much to do but any chance I get I end up laying or sitting down instead.

With DS the fatigue lasted my whole pregnancy, but did get better in the 2nd trimester (I no longer took naps in my car during lunch). This time it is hanging around still again, but it is manageable.

I'm with you and all the pp who have said they feel minimally better. I have a tad more energy (17 weeks), but still feel pretty wiped out most days. This was true of my first pregnancy too. I never felt a big energy rush as some people describe. I know it's discouraging at times, but it's probably just how your body is reacting to growing a life, a huge undertaking! I had an easy, healthy pregnancy the first time 'round, I just had to move a little slower than usual for 40 weeks!

I'm with you!! I'm 15wks 4days and I am soo tired! Like I don't want to do anything but sleep! Sleep is my best friend right now!! Hopefully it gets better for us!! I-)

I'm super sleepy. But I feel like my nausea is better when I nap. That proves difficult at work.
I read in one article that the fatigue will ease up at the end of the 4th month when the placenta is fully formed.

Let's hope that one speaks the truth!!!

My fatigue has not gone away like I had heard about and hoped for, but I'm not 100% sure whether I can attribute that solely to the pregnancy, or the fact that our puppy finds 4 am the ideal time to get up in the morning.

Oh my I hear Ya! 17 weeks here and I'm just so tired. My first two pregnancies were not like this. But then I wasn't running after two kids either! Lol Hang in there!

I was thinking it was just me. I am almost 16 weeks and still can't stay awake all day without taking some sort of nap. All my other pregnancies were no where near this tiring!

I had about a two week spurt of energy, but now I'm back to not being able to keep my eyes open in the middle of the day. With a bonus of now having problems falling asleep at night.

Well at least it's not just me! I'm 14.5 weeks and completely wiped everyday! Hoping there's even a little relief.

I've been exhausted. But I find a 20-30 minute walk really perks me up. Nothing crazy. Just a slow walk. It gives me enough energy to get through the rest of the day.
