This may be a touchy subject for some, since I know not everyone believes in ghosts. My husband, for example, does not. At all. Not even a little. He thinks anything paranormal is because of demons, that all other spirits stay in heaven with God. I, on the other hand, have been having paranormal experiences since I was veeeery young. I believe in them, even though I don't really understand them. So for those who believe, have you ever had any instances that made you realize you were dealing with something spiritual? An unmistakable sighting, occurance, etc?
I hadn't had anything concrete for a long time. A glimpse of a figure here and there but that was it. After my dad died, I started noticing more. Things would turn on by themselves. Things would move. Then, the door to the nursery started opening. I'd close it before bed, wake up and it would be open. Close it again, go downstairs, come back up, and wide open. This went on multiple times a day for several days. My husband would blame it on a draft, so I started securing the door. Still open. I started getting a little weirded out, so I said out loud, "Dad, if that's you, you don't have to keep doing that. I know you're with me. And I know you'll be watching over my daughter. But you have to stop with the door. You're freaking me out." Since then, it hasn't opened one time. Coincidence? Maybe. But to me, it is a reminder that my dad is still hanging around, making sure I'm okay.
