No Physical Pain

I never knew I could lose my baby and not have any physical pain. Emotionally it's been hell. I had a 12 week appt this past Wednesday and sadly there was no heartbeat and the baby measured at a little over 8 weeks. At my 8 week appt the baby had a 176 heartbeat. I had a D&C early Friday morning and experienced no pain after. I guess this should be a blessing, but it's confusing to me. Shouldn't I feel pain? It's almost like it was all a bad dream. I never knew I could be this sad. My husband and I are just so mad/sad. I hate this so much.

    I'm so sorry for your loss.  I had terrible physical pain after one D&C but almost no physical pain after the other. It just depends. The emotional pain is the worst either way :(

    I had the same I went into my 12wk to find no heartbeat and was just devastated.  I agree with whit3183, the emotional pain was much worse than anything they could have put me through physically.  I'm so sorry for your loss
