TB is distracting me, but I'm spending today working on an English paper. Hoping on some decent progress!

I hate making phone calls and I have to call and reschedule DS' dentist appointment AND schedule to get my bloodwork done. Ugh, that can wait a few more days, lol.

Today is my 2 year wedding anniversary. I have off and DH is working. When he gets home, we are going out for a fancy dinner.
Nothing else too exciting going on in my neck of the woods.

It's a busy/anxiety filled week for me. I'm waiting on my numbers from my second blood test (hoping betas are good!). Thursday I take my licensure exam. Nothing like a 4 hour test when your attention is elsewhere!

Not too much going on here just called to make my first appointment. We just moved here not too long ago so I didn't even have an OB. I ended up getting a recommendation from my son's ped. They have me going to an appointment just past 8 weeks to see just the nurse for an hour long prenatal consult. Then on July 6th at just after 9 weeks I get my first ultrasound. I am going to go crazy before then I am sure! I got to have an ultra sound at 7 weeks with DS.

How exciting! I miss my old midwife, she did an ultrasound every appointment, lol. Now that we have military insurance, I can't go until 10 weeks, which will actually be 11/12 since I will be on vacation.

I'm gonna be a nervous wreck.

Got the BFP yesterday!

Most of my weekend was spent running around with my toddler, planning for our move and cleaning for our home inspection. Counted my blessings because, with the BFP, it seems like perfect timing to be moving from our small 2 bedroom condo into a bigger house with a 3rd bedroom for the new baby.

Called and got an appointment for my first ultrasound on June 18th.

Oh blood test yes! They do that right away, I just won't get an actual appointment yet.

@bookqueen I noticed that!! It was supposed to be the 6th based on the last period but I went with O date since I thought that was more accurate!

If this one is anything like DS he will not be here until the 11th...

Spent the weekend hanging out with the hubby and our 19 month old. Now I should be studying but I'm too distracted waiting for DH to come home so I can tell him the exciting news!!!

we spent the weekend at my parents house, they live 5 hours away. Not much else exciting going on, except my 3 y/o had his first teeball game tonight. Cutest thing ever!!

Didn't do much today, went and saw my parents for our weekly visit with ds. Thursday I have my appt with my ob, which I am anxiously awaiting since I had some very small spotting earlier today.
This weekend not much going on DH is starting to work weekends for the summer. I might start to pack bc we are selling out house.

I had to woke today. I worK 12 hours and am away from home 14

. I worked over the weekend. Lol coincidentally I'm working extra this week. But I'm in school for my masters so homework. My son has pirate day in school Friday and I am a World of Warcraft player so raid night got moved to Thursday. Pretty boring.

I should be distracted by the capstone project I have to do to wrap up my Masters, but instead I'm focused on having to wait almost 5 weeks for my first ultrasound. I'm obsessively using up my remaining HPTs so I can see the test line get darker. I feel jaded by the digital, which gave me a bold "not pregnant" on 10 DPO when FRER and even the Dollar Tree ones were giving me more than a faint line. I'm hoping for the blatant confirmation to finally come tomorrow morning so I can move on.

I'm trying to come up with things to keep me occupied for the next several weeks since we're not telling until after the appointment...so I might be doing some baby gear online shopping

Today I determined what kind of baby carrier to get. Evidently the Baby Bjorn that was totally fine (to my knowledge) 6 years ago is now not good for baby's hips. Yikes. I'm also planning some fun outings with the kiddo.

So my vents from above: Waiting. Stupid digitals. Waiting.

On the bright side, I get off work early tomorrow and I'm off on Thursday. Yippee!

So user error. D'oh. I'm so used to the tests that have you dip for 5 seconds, that I didn't read the directions that say to dip for 20 seconds. Got my digital confirmation, which I left out on the counter for the husband when he wakes up (I'm into work at 5:30am)

Maybe we should have a post with ideas

On my list...

-clean the guest room. I had pulled all of DD's smaller clothes to sort through (again) what we should keep or donate. I'm also creating a "gender neutral" section so it's easier should we have a boy.

-I've been meaning to set up a little home photo studio so I had bought the backdrops, but I want to create the faux flooring.

-Planning a staycation at a local resort

-Lots of outings

-Scheduling a couple date nights with the husband

-Lots of arts & crafts w/ the kiddo

-We're going to Disneyland in September. I could probably obsessively plan out all the logistics that I'll never actually use. That would make total sense, haha

Staying busy until the first ultrasound is gonna be ROUGH. But I have stuff to fill my time. I have a paper to write to finish my last class this term and I start new classes July 1st. I also have a 3 week vacation home at the end of June-early July.
